Pacman & Me. Memoires of My Journey.
Welcome to my blog.
I have written this in the hope that I can make a difference in someone's life.
It's about my feelings, my way of dealing with the horrors of breast cancer from the initial diagnosis, through all the different phases of my treatment, to the light at the end of the tunnel... A healthy life afterwards!
I'd like to dedicate this to all of those who have been touched by cancer in any way, but particularly those of you who have battled, or are battling breast cancer... There are far too many of us and I honestly believe that your attitude is more than half the battle!
At the end of each chapter you'll find a photo Gallery. If you click on the photos you'll see them full size with a caption that will add some clarity.
Below you'll find a contact form. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts.
Cheers Lou.
News Flash!
2014 is shaping up to be yet another LIFE changing year. This time of a better nature.
On 25-26 October, 2014, I'll be participating in a very special event called The Weekend to End Women's Cancers™ benefiting the QIMR Berghofer and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH). I'll walk approximately 60 kilometres in two days with thousands of other women and men. The proceeds will support breast and gynaecologic cancers research, treatment, and services. I've committed to raising at least $2,000, but I've set my personal goal at $4000, Thats $1000 for every year treatment has bought me. So I need your help. Please help me by making a donation. No matter how small. Every dollar counts. Use the link at the bottom of this to visit my site and make an online donation to support me. Please keep in mind how far I'm walking - and how hard I'll have to train. I'm walking so far to do something bold about all women's cancers. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me - by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.
